Description
New Garrett PD “Smart” Wastegate Actuator originally found on the Garrett VNT17 turbocharger on BEW engines. When these fail the vanes will not adjust properly, sending the vehicle into limp mode, low power, worse fuel economy, more smoke, check engine lights and eventually complete turbo failure
Note on Application: These are not recommended for non-Garrett turbos as they are not oriented properly and will require extensive modification to function.
This actuator can be used to convert a Garrett VNT17 turbocharger meant for a Mk4 ALH engine, to work seamlessly with the BEW engines.
