Description
ALH bottom end, we start with a brand-new, not reman, old stock PD short block. PD blocks have tapered rods and other improvements that make this good for 200 hp out of the box. Picture needs updating, however note that this come with a new oil cooler, oil filter housing and filter. Going forward you will have to use a BRM Mk5 oil filter.
We convert this to ALH configuration with an ALH tone wheel and rear main seal housing. We then put on a new ALH cylinder head and (upon request – +$200) install ARP head studs. This configuration is ideal for 160-200 hp range, or as a bulletproof 90-180 hp setup. Franko6 camshaft kit with black lifters available for an additional $450, installed.
