Description
BorgWarner KP39 turbocharger for VW TDIs with a BEW engine code.
Fits the Following:
2004-2006 VW New Beetle TDI
2004-2005 VW Jetta TDI (NOT late 2005.5)
2004-2006 VW Golf TDI
Note: It is sometimes necessary to reclock these turbos for your specific car. There is a snap ring on the turbo, pull that out and rotate the compressor housing around. It’s much easier to do when you have the old turbo out and can place it side by side with the new turbo. If you have already installed the turbo then gently use a pry bar on the bracket under the exhaust manifold. Push towards the rear of the car between the bracket and the output tube. Replace the snap ring and you’re done!
